Sobremesa
soh·breh·MEH·sah · noun

The Spanish word for the time you stay at the table after the meal is done — the last glass, the unhurried talk, the part that was never about the food. It is the whole reason I travel the way I do. And it is the name of these pages.

About the Publication

Not a travel guide.
A way of arriving.

Sobremesa is where I write the places — not as itineraries to check off, but as experiences to be changed by. The destinations worth staying in. The tables worth lingering at. The corners of the world that reward the woman who would rather stay than sightsee.

Every story is a first-person account from the ground, written the way I travel: slowly, attentively, and always in search of the moment the meal ends and the real evening begins.

Travel With Intention

Some places you visit.
Others, you finally come home to.

When a story moves you toward a place, the journey itself can be curated — privately, personally, by invitation.
